Privacy Policy
Fullbloom is a mental-health skills app, so most of what you put into it is sensitive by definition. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read.
Who we are
Fullbloom is built and operated by Constella App, Inc., 400 Concar Drive, C/O Constella, San Mateo, CA 94402.
Constella App, Inc. is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have a question about any of it, write to team@constella.app and a person will answer.
What we collect
Only what the app needs to work:
- What you say and write. When you press the help button and talk, we process that audio to work out which skill to offer. We also store the notes, drafted messages, and worksheet answers you choose to save.
- Your check-ins. Whether you were alone or around people, how your body felt afterwards, and how the intensity moved. These are the short answers the exercises ask for.
- Your progress. Which lessons, practices, and worksheets you have opened or finished, and the level your sapling has reached.
- App and device basics. App version, device model, operating system, language, and crash or error diagnostics, so we can fix what breaks.
- Subscription status. Whether you are on a trial or an active subscription. Apple handles the payment itself (see “Who else sees it” below).
Responsive river scenery
When you release a thought with moving scenery, your submitted words are sent to OpenAI through OpenRouter to choose gentle visual adjustments. Fullbloom does not save those words in its database or application logs, or use them to build a personal profile. Provider privacy policies apply. Still scenery and reduced motion pause these requests.
Empty space on the web
In Empty space, submitted thoughts are processed by OpenAI through OpenRouter to choose an atmosphere and a drawing description. Google Gemini creates the outline illustration. These are creative interpretations, not a diagnosis or a personal profile. Fullbloom does not save the words, descriptions or images in its database or application logs; they remain only in the current page until they fade, you clear the space or leave. Provider privacy policies apply. Voice input uses the same transcription service as the river. An anonymous browser session authorizes requests and limits generation.
Visual maps on the web
In Possible paths, the description and choices you submit are processed by Google Gemini to create a situation map and an illustrated scene. Fullbloom does not save these descriptions, maps, or generated images in its database or application logs. They remain in the current page until you leave the experience or start a new map. Google's provider privacy policies apply to its processing.
An anonymous browser session is used to authorize generation and limit requests. Practice progress and preferences are stored in your browser; your map content is not included in that progress.
Reflections on the web
Reflection practices are private until you choose to submit words for an AI suggestion or use voice transcription. Unfold, Two sides and Thought board use Google Gemini for the questions and suggestions you request. Fullbloom does not save that reflection content in its database or application logs; provider privacy policies apply. Generated connections remain suggestions you can reject or edit.
Choosing “Save on this device” stores a reflection in this browser, including your words and any wording you chose to keep. These saved moments are not synced to an account and may be readable by others using the same browser profile. Remove an individual moment in Saved reflections, or use Settings → Erase this browser's data to clear them all. Unsaved reflection words clear when you leave the practice.
Voice, specifically
The microphone is only on after you start a voice feature and can see that it is listening. It is never left open in the background, and the app does not listen for wake words.
Audio is used to understand what you are dealing with in the moment so the app can pick a skill instead of making you pick one. Unless you save a session, the recording is not kept after the session ends.
Why we use it
- To run the exercise you asked for: choosing a skill, pacing the breathing, and asking the follow-up questions.
- To keep your path and your saved entries so they are there next time.
- To keep the app working: diagnosing crashes, fixing bugs, and preventing abuse.
- To answer you when you contact support.
We do not use what you say or write to serve you ads, and we do not sell or rent it. We do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not share your entries with data brokers.
Who else sees it
- Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, speech processing, crash reporting, and analytics. They may only process your data to provide those services to us, under contract, and never for their own purposes.
- Apple. Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store, so Apple, not us, handles your payment details. We never see your card number.
- Legal requests. We may disclose data if we are legally required to, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Nobody on our team reads your entries out of curiosity. Access is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.
How long we keep it
Saved entries, check-ins, and progress are kept while your account exists, because that is the point of them. Unsaved session audio is not retained after the session. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short operating window and then deleted.
When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your content. Backups roll off on their own schedule, so a copy may persist in backup storage briefly before it is overwritten.
Your choices
- Revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings. The app still works; it will ask you to choose a skill instead of listening.
- Delete any individual entry from inside the app.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion of your account by writing to us.
- Turn off notifications in your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objecting to certain processing. Email team@constella.app and we will honour those requests.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we treat this data as sensitive health information, because it is.
Children
Fullbloom is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We may process and store data in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, the same way we tell you before a subscription renews. Nothing is taken quietly.
